How to make No Sew Summer Towels
Supplies:
Flour sack towels
Iron on vinyl (pink, light green, coral, yellow)
Cutting machine
EasyPress or iron
Pom pom trim
Hot glue gun
Download your favorite image from our Palm Springs Bundle and upload into your favorite cutting machine software. Size and mirror your image depending on your towel size. Cut the image and weed away any excess vinyl.
Iron your flour sack towel to remove any creases from packaging. Position the image in the bottom center of your towel. Make sure the tag is in the back or at the top of the towel when opened. Set the EasyPress to 315 degrees for 30 seconds. Apply the EasyPress directly over the image and start the timer. Once timer sounds, remove the EasyPress and set back in it’s cradle. Carefully peel the liner away from the image.
Repeat the above process for all of the layers.
Apply the pom pom trim to the bottom edge of the towel using your hot glue gun. Leave a small amount hanging over the edge in order to wrap it around for a smooth edge.
Fold and hang on your oven handle in the kitchen for a bright summer look!
And because flamingos are my favorite, I also made the flamingo towel!
