It’s that time of year again! The best food night of the year in my opinion is Super Bowl Sunday! I just love bar food and appetizers. But I always struggle with dessert because I fill up on all of the other goodies. These bite sized chocolate covered pretzels make perfect Super Bowl Party Treats!
I found these football shaped pretzels at our local Wal-mart. I knew I had to make something with them for the Super Bowl!
These are super easy to make and I used dark chocolate for once instead of milk chocolate. The dark chocolate is less sweet and really blends well with the saltiness of the pretzel. I used the Wilton dark chocolate candy melts. Melt the chocolate according to package instructions. Dip the pretzels in the chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip into bowl prior to placing on wax paper to dry. Once the chocolate dries, add the football stitching with some white icing. So easy and so yummy!
I’m going to have to make more around Super Bowl Sunday because these are already gone! Thank goodness they are quick!
Stay tuned because next week, I will share my husband’s favorite chicken wings recipe. It’s out of this world!
