Materials needed for Plaid Wrapped Christmas Trees
Foam cones
Plaid wrapping paper
Bows or stars
Hot glue gun
All you need to create these trendy and adorable Christmas trees is some plaid wrapping paper, foam cones, scrapbook embellisments and hot glue gun. I found this plaid wrapping paper at Michaels and fell in love! You can use scrapbook paper as well (depending on the size of the cone)!
You can find these foam cones at any craft store. They have them in a variety of sizes. I liked the tiered look of using varying heights and sizes.
Unroll the wrapping paper and place your foam cone at an angle on the inside of the paper. Glue the edge of your paper to the cone and begin wrapping.
Trim the excess wrapping paper and glue down the other edge to complete. Then I trimmed the extra paper from the bottom.
I added these cute red bows to the top! You could totally add stars or something else from the scrapbook aisle! Get creative!
Repeat the above process until all the cones are wrapped.
That’s it! How easy was that?! So easy to make and looks great! I have mine sitting in the middle of my kitchen island.
I just love the rustic, preppy look to them!
