Consider this your sanity saver. Portable summer party in a tote! We throw cookouts for the family throughout the summer. I wanted something to entertain the kids while the adults visit and eat. These little Outdoor Fun Kits include all of the kids’ favorite things to do in the summer!

I found these little plastic totes at Michaels for a dollar each! They had a variety of fun and bright summer colors to choose from. Then I raided the kid’s section for things to stuff inside!
Make your own Outdoor Fun Kits!
- Water balloons
- Bubbles
- Silly string
- Glow sticks
- Water bombs
- Plastic tote or bucket
I grabbed bubbles, water bombs, and water balloons to help keep them cool while playing in the summer heat. And who doesn’t love silly string?! I know clean up can be a mess but the giggles make it worth the work. The glow sticks keep the party going long after the sun has gone down!
I used my Cricut Explore to decorate the outside of the little plastic totes. You can easily add letter stickers if you don’t have a cutting machine.
Then I filled them to the brim with the fun little party favors!
Some other items to include – sidewalk chalk, squirt guns, water bottles! You can customize this any way you like!
The kids love them! Plus the little tote can be used long after the other surprises are gone!
Kind of makes me want to join in the fun! What else would you add to these kits?
