How creepy and cool is this Gothic Halloween Invitation I made with my Cricut!?

Cricut Team 5 is all over Round 3 of the Cricut Design Space Star contest! With our Gothic Halloween party theme, you are guaranteed to find something that will inspire you! I wanted to design something of my own for this round. I created this Gothic Halloween Invitation! The coolest part is that the Cricut Explore drew it for me!
I am head over heels in love with how this turned out! The sketch pen design gives it an antique, Victorian feel.
I reminds me of an old newspaper clipping from Jack the Ripper’s time.
How to make your own Gothic Halloween Invitation
To create this, I used the “upload your own image” option in Design Space. I designed the invitation in PicMonkey. They have a variety of Halloween fonts that totally helped with the look I was going for. Be sure to use the transparent canvas and save as a .png file. Otherwise, you will be adjusting the image once you upload it into Design Space.
The rest is easy! Upload your image into Design Space and open as a new project. In the layer box on the right, click on the scissor icon and change it to the pen. Load your pen in the machine and proceed as if you were going to cut.
For the edging, I used image #M6453D from Summer Soirees.
It is seriously that easy! And it goes great with my Gothic Halloween Table and Plate Decor!
Now for the fun part! Phase Two of the Cricut I Made It campaign has officially begun!
