If you’re anything like me, once warmer weather hits, your shoe collection quadruples. I have a thing for flats and slip ons. As a busy, full time working mother, I need shoes that are quick and convenient {and cheap}. Unfortunately, these shoes offer practicality but often do not keep up with today’s trends.
Have no worries! I have a solution!
My friend, Amy from Mod Podge Rocks, designed these amazing new peel and stick stencils and I happen to know for a fact they work well on canvas. Check out how I updated my plain navy slip ons to these trendy DIY Polka Dot Shoes with the help of the Mod Podge Rocks stencils!
To create these Polka Dot Shoes all you need is a pair of canvas slip on shoes, gold Sharpies, and the polka dot Mod Podge Rocks stencil!
The Mod Podge Rocks Stencils come in 6 trendy designs! I chose polka dots because I kinda love polka dots.
These stencils can be repositioned up to 20 times!
Place your stencil over the toe of the canvas shoe. Begin filling in the dots with your gold Sharpie.
The stencil molds well to all of the curves of the shoe. Once you finish a section, just reposition the stencil and keep going!
It’s seriously that easy!
I love how they turned out!! They will go well with my khaki shorts this summer!
Easy as 1-2-3!
