Create this fun Day of the Dead Wreath with sugar skulls to greet guests this year!
I have been in love with the sugar skulls and brights colors of Day of the Dead for years. It seems like they are everywhere this Halloween and with good reason. These colorful decorations remind us to celebrate the dead, not mourn them. As I was browsing through Michaels the other day, I was inspired to create this beautiful Day of the Dead Wreath!

Materials needed to create your own Day of the Dead Wreath
Foam wreath form
2 spools of black satin ribbon
Colorful Halloween floral picks
Foam sugar skull
Hot glue gun
Pink ribbon (to hang)
Begin by wrapping the foam wreath form with the black satin ribbon. Hot glue one end of the ribbon to the back of the wreath and start wrapping. This will require 2 rolls of black satin ribbon. When you reach the end of the first roll, hot glue the end down. Begin the next roll where the last one left off.
Complete your wreath by trimming any excess ribbon and hot gluing the end of the ribbon to back of the wreath.
Once the wreath is wrapped, arrange the floral picks as you would like them and hot glue into place.
Glue the sugar skull in place over the ends of the floral picks to hide them.
Finally, add the pink ribbon to the top of the wreath for hanging.
I just love how fun and festive this Day of the Dead wreath is! The glitter, bright colors are perfect for celebrating Halloween or Day of the Dead!
