Jello Play Dough

I have some silly friends.  {You know who you are.}  We were trying to come up with links for a friend doing an ice cream round up post.  It dissolved into a fit of giggles with talks of all the different ingredients you could use to make play dough.  Well, I ran with it.  And that’s how this Jello Play Dough was born.

Quick and easy kid's project - Jello Play Dough! #jello #playdough #kidsproject

I adapted my recipe from Desiree’s Kool Aid Play Dough recipe!  It think the gelatin made some difference in the consistency but it works great and smells so good!

Jello Play Dough

Jello Play Dough

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/8 cup of Jello (darker colors work best)
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp and 1/4 tsp oil

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients.
  2. Bring water to a boil.
  3. Add the oil to the boiling water. Stir together.
  4. Slowly add the water to the dry ingredients until reaches desired consistency.
