DIY Wooden Photo Props

It’s my sweet friend’s, Amber from Crazy Little Projects, birthday!  We are celebrating this week with birthday party ideas and some AWESOME giveaways!

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw my post about the new unfinished Wooden Photo Props from Michaels.  {If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you should!  LOL Click HERE!}  Laser cut wooden props are kind of all the rage right now.  The great thing about these is their versatility!  You can paint them, cover them in scrapbook paper or bling them out with some glitter!  Whatever you choose to do, it is a great way to ensure some fun, lasting photos.  Create your own memories with these DIY Wooden Photo Props!  These are perfect for your next party!

I mean, seriously.  How stinkin’ cute it that?

The hat that Reed is modeling is simply painted in black acrylic craft paint.  I was thinking about covering it in felt too!

The bow tie is covered in scrapbook paper to give it a special patterned look.

Again, the glasses and mustache are simply painted.

The girl’s hat is covered in scrapbook paper and I added those sweet red and white polkadot flowers for a special touch.  The cat eye glasses are painted red and then rolled in red glitter.  I had to con Reed into sporting the girly stuff for me.  He was laughing so hard when he put those glasses up to his face and I was able to capture this great shot of him.  He got a sucker for his troubles.

Regardless of how you decorate these DIY Wooden Photo Props, you are guaranteed to create some fun memories at your next party!

Hint:  She may or may not have a super awesome giveaway for a Jo Totes bag!
