Happy Pi Day!
Whether you love numbers or dessert, today is your day! 3/14 or March 14th is commonly known as Pi Day! Remember, grade school math class when you learned that pi equals 3.14xxxxxxx? Yes – that pi. While math is great and all, honestly, I prefer pi with an e. To celebrate Pi Day, we busted out a Key Lime Marie Callender’s pie!
This key lime pie is a great spring/summer treat! It is light and refreshing with a subtle tangy-ness without the sharp tartness of some key lime pies. {Probably because they use real Key West Lime Juice!} That tangy-ness is mellowed by the sweet graham cracker crust. My husband, the foodie, LOVES Marie Callender’s pies but the key lime is his favorite. {He also loves the Pumpkin Pie!} Did you know you can rate and review Marie Callender’s pies or check out what other people think of their pies? I’m thinking Lemon Meringue for Easter!
