Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs are a fun spin on the traditional Easter egg! I am kind of obsessed with dipping things in glitter. My Glitter Dipped Christmas Candles were such a hit, I decided to put an Easter spin on the project. {If you missed the Glitter Dipped Christmas Candles, click here.} Don’t worry, these eggs are paper mache so they can’t spoil. The bright colors and sparkles make me long for spring!
Wanna make your own Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs?
Here’s what you need:
Paper mache eggs
Paint
Glitter
Paintbrush
Mod Podge
Begin by painting your paper mache eggs. This will take at least two coats (three on the green). Set aside to dry.
Once the eggs are dry, brush some Mod Podge on the bottom half of the egg. {I used Sparkle Mod Podge because it’s my favorite to use with glitter projects.}
Roll your eggs through the glitter. Set aside and allow to dry.
Here are all of them in the egg carton. They are so pretty and colorful!
Minus drying time, this takes about ten minutes. It actually took me longer to clean up the mess I made. LOL
These Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs are now my new favorite glitter project!
