Remember back in grade school, getting ready for Valentine’s Day and the big Valentine Exchange? I loved getting all the little cards, stickers, and candy! It’s kind of like having a birthday on Facebook as an adult. I loved feelin’ the love!
About a week ago, I threw out a question on good ole Facebook to see how many of my readers would be interested in doing a Valentine Exchange. I’m talking old school snail mail Valentine Exchange. The response was overwhelming! And I would LOVE the chance to get to know all my readers! So let’s do it!
Here are the Valentine Exchange details…
- You do NOT have to have a blog to participate! This exchange is opened to everyone in the U.S. only! {Sorry to my Canadian friends!}
- Everyone who wants to participate can sign up on the Google Doc attachment sign up link below. {Keep in mind you will have to leave your home address on this doc.}
- You are NOT required to make your Valentines. It would be insane to request that. Especially if we have a huge response. But by all means get as creative as you want! Check out my Pinterest board for V-Day inspiration! {Click here.}
- Sign up ends January 31st! You will be emailed the completed list on February 1st!!
- All Valentine’s need to be mailed by February 7th at the latest. That way everyone receives them in time for Valentine’s Day.
- Tell your friends! The more the merrier!
- Signing up for this exchange means you are aware of the cost of postage and agree to mail to everyone on the list. {I have a contingency plan should it get too big.}

Yay I’m so excited!! It going to be fun.:)
Me too! Eeeek!!
What a fun idea!!
Thanks Adrianne! I’m super excited! =)
Yay.
I thought you going to post this next Monday!
Excited. Going to post about this today.
Thanks for the shoutout, Teralyn!! So excited!
I feel like a kid again! But I seem to live in that mentality, so this will be fun
I know! I’m so excited!
I just signed up and shared on my Facebook page!
Great! Thanks for the share, Brooke Anna!
Such a fun idea! Do you think you could give us an idea of how many people are signed up the last week of January for those of us who may want to make our own Valentines…so we can get a head start of making them. Just a ball park number would be helpful
Sure will! I will FB and tweet the number each day so you guys can get an idea! Will that work?
That sounds perfect… I’d also like to make mine, but not if there are going to be like 150 or something.
LOL – that’s why I said you didn’t have to. =)
Perfect! Thanks
Now to think of my Valentines ;o)
I know, right?
I’m super excited. I’ve always wanted to be part of a card exchange and gives me an excuse to use all my pretty paper and it will feel like everyone knew it was my birthday since it is the next day!!!
Yay! So excited to have you, Erika!
So excited!!! This is going to be so fun!!!!
So glad you joined in the fun, Judith!
If I already signed up I am sorry….. I can not seem to find my information in the posts….(using my phone not te lap top)
I think this is such a fun idea and I am looking forward to I….
You are on my list! Thanks for joining in the fun!
Signed up and I shared it on my blog Facebook!
You are the BEST! Thanks Dana!
I did something similar last year for Valentines- we were paired in partners and sent each other a gift. I’ve been looking for something like it again for this year- so excited to have found you! Just wondering- no worries no matter what- but how many will be enough for you to have to go to your contingency plan?! Thanks for all your efforts on this- have an awesome rest of the night!
If we hit 50 participants, we will split the list in two.
This is so much fun getting these Valentines…I’ve always like getting mail and this reminds how much fun the mail can be. There is just something extra special about being able to open, see and touch. Thank you I’ve gotten twelve so far and have them in my Valentine Box.
I am loving it too!!
