With the influx of new followers, I thought this would be the PERFECT time to educate you on Facebook pages. You see, Facebook has started using a new system called EdgeRank. This new algorithm determines which feeds YOU see and how high on your newsfeed they appear. I’m here to teach you how to remedy that. So let’s stay in touch!
How do I fix my Facebook feed?
There are two different ways around this Facebook issue. I will show you each of those ways and you decide which is best for you!
Create a special interest group
Create a special interests group in Facebook! This is a great solution! If you follow several blogs {like myself}, you can basically group them all together so you can see ALL their feeds. Kind of like Facebook’s version of Google Reader or Bloglovin’. Simply go to Create.Craft.Love’s FB page. Hover over the “like” button and a drop box will appear.

Click on “add to interest list”. This brings up a new drop box. You can name your list whatever you choose. Mine is called Bloggy Buddies.

Once you add Create.Craft.Love to your list, it will appear at the bottom of your left hand menu on the Facebook newsfeed page.

Show in News Feed
Show Facebook pages in your newsfeed! Follow the same steps as how to add to interest list. Hover over the “like” button and click “show in newsfeed”.
Follow me through other social media outlets!
Create.Craft.Love posts regularly to Twitter, Pinterest and Google Plus as well! If you want to keep closer tabs on what’s going on in my world, simply click the links below to follow me through one of those social media outlets!
Twitter, Pinterest, and Google Plus
Regardless of how you follow, get ready for some exciting things at Create.Craft.Love this year!!

This is a lot of work. Why not just click the “Pages Feed” link 15 links up? That is where all of the posts from pages you’ve liked hang out.

I agree, Dee. But most people want it right there in their newsfeed so they don’t have to look around. I think the take home message is you have to engage your readers through multiple social media outlets.
