Happy Opening Ceremonies of the London 2012 Games!!
I LOVE the Olympics! {Truth be told – the winter games are more to my liking.} I love the spirit and solidarity that results from this gathering! I am watching the amazing show that London is putting on as I write this!
I saw these ADORABLE Oreo Olympic Gold Medals over at Mirabelle Creations and just knew I had to recreate them for our family evening of Olympic TV watching. Check out my Oreo-lympic Medals!

Reed is ready for his medal ceremony! Saluting the flag and all! Who knows? Maybe he will win a medal someday!
Can I tell you how many of these Oreo-lympic medals I had to eat? I mean, I wouldn’t want my baby to have something that was going to be bad for him. A good mama has to taste test these things. LOL
Have fun watching all the sporting events!! My favorite summer sport is swimming! Always exciting!

Cute idea – I’ll have to try these with my boys (they are so into the Olympics, probably because London are hosting and some events are fairly local to us).

O my! This is the cutest thing ever!!!! And I have been LOVING watching the Olympics. They make me so happy. I love the diving, swimming, and gymnastics! Did you see Gabby today? She’s an American gymnast who is 15 years old and so happy and cute and GOOD!!

This idea is CUTE cute cute. I wish I knew of a little tike to make these for…but since I don’t, I will probably make these for myself and roomies. Perfect college craft night idea, right? lol. Good thing they already know I make weird crafts, or else they would probably rethink their choice to live with me. Haha.
