This Wedding Song Lyric Art is a project close to my heart. And I must have been shot by Cupid’s arrow because I am in such a lovey-dovey mood! There are soooo many awesome Valentine’s Day printables out there in the blogosphere and I am feeling inspired. But, I really wanted to create one of my own that was personal to my husband and me. Our wedding song means so much to us and I wanted to highlight it in this Wedding Song Lyric Art.
I am fairly new to Photoshop, so I’ve been playing around on it a lot, trying to get a good feel for it. (Can I tell you that the Internet has a WEALTH of information for newbies like myself?) The text tool is UBER-easy to use. I Googled the lyrics to Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars” and began creating.
First, I chose a new page and customized the size to 8 inches by 10 inches. I really wanted to lyrics to run off the page. I didn’t want it to wrap text. So I wrote until I ran out of room and then started again on the next line. My favorite line in that song says, “I need your grace to remind me to find my own.” It reminds me that I am a better person because of him. I highlighted it in dark red to make it really stand out. (As luck would have it, it ended up being the center of the page!)

This is SUCH a cute idea! I love that you used your favorite lyrics, and the heart is the perfect touch! Thanks for sharing at oopsey daisy!
